Daniela Hoeche was born in Duesseldorf, Germany on 19 July. Born to a German father and Dutch mother, she is the elder of two children. She grew up in Duesseldorf, Germany and later moved to Berlin in December 2007. Although Daniela loves her homeland, her second home is New York City. As often as her schedule allows, she flies to New York. “This city taught me that I don’t have to be perfect to be big and unstoppable, I just have to be fast enough to grow with the changes and challenges life brings me. It inspires me because everything is possible here. New York is not afraid to fail because after every failure, it comes back even smarter, stronger and bigger than before. It’s not perfect, but that’s what makes it so beautiful and strong. It’s not afraid to show its real face. To be successful, you have to research the known, but to be unforgettable like New York you have to be courageous enough to discover the unknown. That motivates and encourages me.”

Daniela started her writing in 2007 by blogging on MySpace. During this time, her relationship ended. This prompted Daniela to start writing her first book, “From New York City to the World – Let’s remind ourselves”. She later said: “Without the end of this relationship, I would probably never have started writing. I was looking for a way of dealing with all these emotions that came up during this time. I can actually say, with losing a big love I had found a big love, my love for writing.”
Daniela has always loved to play with words and language, so it was not a big surprise when she created the word “Unstoppablist”. During a conversation with MTV on MySpace, she coined the term. This word was to find in MTV’s MySpace mood section for years. As for her, it’s not just a word she created, it’s a lifestyle she believes in and lives. Through MySpace, Daniela met a lot of people and created a network of individuals who motivated, encouraged and inspired her. One of which was the songwriter Jack Knight. When Jack created his own blog site “JKSWA” (www.blog.jkswa.com), Daniela joined it immediately. The Jack Knight Song Writing Academy is well known among creative writers and artists of every genre. It has so many resources for everyone, not just great songwriters. It is an amazing site! You will love it once you’ve had a look. It was there Daniela found endless inspiration from friends and mentors and discovered her love for poetry. Inspired by the JKSWA family, Daniela started writing poetry. Often, her poems were featured on Jack’s site.
In 2008, Daniela joined Twitter (www.twitter.com/just_dani) and found another love besides poetry…her love for quotations. She not only followed people who inspired her with their quotations, very quickly, she began tweeting positive and inspiring quotes of her own to her followers. While on twitter, she met music Producer Tony Dofat. It was on his Dofat TV where she met the Briton Sergio Clinkett, CEO of ESRC International. With him, she spoke of her vision, a book that should be written by the world. Daniela sent him a poem that described her vision. Sergio loved the powerful words of Dani’s vision so much that ESRC International immediately started the creation of a website to help her realize her vision. Within just 7 days the site had reached over 20,000 visitors around the world! There will be no doubt that the relaunch of the site in April 2011 is going to reach even more people around the world (www.clicnlink.com/wordswillchange/welcome-to-a-new-vision/).
After many requests, Daniela started working on her second book that would contain the poetry and quotations that she had written. From that effort, Dani wrote the book “Soulstrip”. It’s a book that can’t be compared with any other book. It’s something new and fresh, inspiring and encouraging. With “Soulstrip” Daniela has proved that she is not just a blogger, but a visionary author and a serious competitor in the writing business. And not just stores like Amazon and Barnes & Nobles sell her books but also the famous Harvard book store of the Harvard University and the book store of the Stanford University purchase these inspirational books of a inspirational, motivational german writer that makes herself a name around the world.
The Huffington Post wrote in a book review () about her book “Soulstrip”: “Poetry has always given our lives special meaning. Maya Angelou painted a memorable, moving portrait of self-love in “Phenomenal Woman”. Emily Dickinson’s garden of scented, exotic flowers inspired the beautiful vision of “There is Another Sky”. And the words of Kahlil Gibran are so deeply invested in the light of the human spirit that you feel anything is possible. Daniela Hoeche, an amazing young poet from Germany, is headed down the same road of literary notoriety. Her book, Soulstrip, is one of the best books of poetry to arrive this year, and, one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. In short, it’s an unmistakable masterpiece…….If Soulstrip is any indication, this could be the first of many great works to come from Daniela Hoeche, an important voice for a new century of literary creativity.” (
